SLIS Student Rebecca Skipper receives AHEAD Graduate Scholarship

Rebecca Skipper is the 2010 recipient of the AHEAD Graduate Scholarship which is providing her the opportunity to continue her education. Becky will be graduating from SLIS this spring, and has been accepted into USF College of Education’s Masters Degree in Instructional Technology, beginning summer 2010.



AHEAD (Association on Higher Education and Disability) is actively involved in all facets of promoting full and equal participation by individuals with disabilities in higher education; and supporting the systems, institutions, professions, and professionals who attend to the fulfillment of this important mission (from their website http://www.ahead.org).

  1. Yes, congratulations to Becky Skipper! Well-earned honors come to those who work as hard as Becky, one of my most favorite classmates. As a USF College of Education alumnus I know my old school is gaining a fine student. Thanks, Dr. Maatta, for the good news!
